Google announced the new dashboards in a post on the Google Blog yesterday (13 September 2017).

Here's their example of a "Starter Dashboard":

Features Google claims include:

  • Flexibility in arranging tables and charts - add existing ones or create new ones
  • Select any date range and the dashboard will display everything accordingly
  • See everything all in one place (impressions, clicks, CTRs by device, etc.) without moving between tabs
  • All dashboards for a campaign will be accessible from the Reports tab for easy collaboration.

Something like this is overdue - AdWords has gotten so complicated that many advertisers just throw up their hands and let Google manage their click budget on autopilot.

I wouldn't do that if I were you...
