Don't neglect to provide top-notch user experiences on desktops
Data newly released by Microsoft Advertising show that although clicks on ads via mobile devices began to exceed clicks from desktops in 4Q2016 and have continued to pull ahead ever since, ad clicks from desktops have also increased:
And 80% of online conversions and 76% of e-commerce spend still occur on desktops.
So let's continue working on "mobile first" websites and ads as advocated by Google, but not neglect to provide top-notch user experiences on desktops, where most of the money is still being made.
