Google users can now leave more detailed restaurant reviews

New review tech is now live for all restaurants in the U.S. on Android and is rolling out to iOS, with more categories and countries coming soon.

New restaurant review functionality in Google Maps makes it easy for customers to leave more detailed reviews quickly and easily. The new/improved smartphone screen looks like this:

With the new screen setup, in addition to clicking a star rating, keying in a text review, and uploading a photo, customers are prompted to show with just a few clicks:

Dine in, Take out, or Delivery
Which meal
Spend per person

This feature is live now on Android devices for all US restaurants,
