The Nielsen Norman Group's (NN/g) 2019 Boston UX Conference will be held 15-19 July at the Omni Parker House.

NN/g promises:

  • 5 days of full-day courses (attend as many as you want and can afford - see pricing below)
  • Best practices
  • Expert instructors
  • Learn practical skills
  • No sales pitches
  • UX certification

Courses (12 total):

Monday 15 July: UX Basic Training

Tuesday 16 July: Generating Big Ideas, Facilitating Workshops, Personas

Wednesday 17 July: Interface Design, Essential Skills, Usability Testing

Thursday 18 July: Human Mind, Omnichannel Journeys, Blueprinting

Friday 19 July: Lean UX and Agile, Journey Mapping

UX Certification Fees: $80 per exam, one exam needed per day of training

Conference Fees: Until June 14, prices range from $878 for 1 day to $3522 for 5 days; go up in 2 steps after that.

Parker House has a block of rooms for the conference priced at $274/night which at least is better than the $329 I'm getting right now from Google Travel.

Pricy, but maybe the best conference of its kind.
