In a 7 May 2018 post on the Google Blog VP/Product Management Jerry Dischler said: "...the new AdWords will become the exclusive way to manage your accounts by the end of the year, and access to the previous experience will no longer be available."
And also that "...we won’t switch accounts during the busy holiday months of November and December."
Most users have already been switched over to the Google Ads "New Experience" - but anyone who hasn't can expect that to happen this week.
Google offers this advice to help you "hit the ground running":

- Review the quick reference map.
- Bookmark the ‘new AdWords experience’ section of the Help Center.
