Next HSMAI Boston breakfast meeting is scheduled for 8AM-10AM 27 September at the Langham Hotel.

BU hospitality marketing professor Makarand Mody PhD will present the latest research on how Airbnb is impacting the hotel industry in terms of economic performance, customer experience, and residents' perceptions of home-sharing in their neighborhoods, and discuss what the hospitality industry can do to respond to this competitive threat.

Ticket prices are hidden deep within cvent, but probably something like $50 for members and $70 for non-members.

Short-term rentals are a hot topic in Boston since enactment of the new ordinance, so this should be an interesting discussion. And the price is right.
