Organizers Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITx) and Boston Interactive Media Association (BIMA) describe this event as:

"...an exclusive, half-day summit of ideas, discussions, and networking that will bring together marketing professionals around the emerging technologies and innovations shaping and defining the new universe of media and the impact it has for brands and organizations."

Re "exclusive": website goes on to say:

"The FutureX Media Summit is exclusive to senior-level agency and brand professionals...If you purchase a pass and are not from an agency or brand, your registration may be canceled and you will be refunded."

(Try not to be offended by this. Tech folks tend to be naturally blunt. Intent is probably to exclude people wanting to sell stuff to the target attendees.)

Speakers include reps from:

  • IAB
  • Liberty Mutual
  • New Balance
  • Smarter Travel
  • Digitas
  • MITx
  • Havas Media
  • More

Venue will be Google Cambridge at 355 Main Street 02142.

Event begins with registration at 11:30 AM, ends with happy hour and networking 3 PM - 4 PM.

Registration fees are: MITx/BIMA members $135, non-members $195.

Should be an excellent meeting, would attend but for previous commitment.
