Hoppa survey: Expensive vs Cheap - The Real Cost of a Holiday in Europe

Airport transfer booking company Hoppa has released results of a survey of costs for visiting cities in 48 countries.

To do this they calculated the average cost of a market-basket of typical products and services bought by tourists:

  • Pint of beer
  • Cup of coffee
  • Meal for 2
  • Bottle of wine
  • Hotel room-night
  • Taxi fare (1 km)
  • Cinema ticket
  • Cocktail

Cheapest city: Sunny Beach, Bulgaria at 58.22 GBP

Most expensive city: Copenhagen, Denmark at 302.90 GBP
